BEWARE!!!! Horrible card servicing company for orbitz visa. Commenity bank and orbitz should be ashamed. The offer no protection against fraudulent activity. If you ever have a company defraud you they will abandon you. Worst customer service ever.
"I recently obtained an Orbitz Visa card because I travel frequently and have always used Orbitz for bookings. The Orbitz Visa card offered an excellent benefit package. I opened my account with a $2000 credit limit. I booked airfare for $1700 last month and paid off the full amount on 5/27/17 before the due date leaving a $0 balance. Today on 6/16 I tried to book another flight but my card was declined. When I called Orbitz Visa customer service I was told that although they received my payment (and my money was deducted from my checking account on 5/27) that the credit may take 20 business days (thats 4 weeks) to post to my account. So although my balance is $0 I cannot use my card for a month. I cancelled my card and will no longer use Orbitz!
"Comenity Bank that services this card has horrible customer service. I had retail company charge me for items they never sent. After speaking with the retailer and getting nowhere, I filled out Comenity Bank's dispute form letting them know the problem. It took them 5 months and they never verified the tracking information that was in question, they sent a contact telephone number that does not reach anyone in their customer care team and when you call the number on the back of the card they will not connect you to the customer care team and do not know any direct phone numbers. They made me fill out 3 separate dispute forms and mail it to 3 different addresses. I still do not have a contact name or phone number. I had to cancel my card to stop the retailer from charging me every month for product they never sent out. So if you want a card without any protection that will bill you for fraudulent charges and then give you the run-around for months try this orbitz card. If I were orbitz I would find another bank to service their card and disassociate with comenity bank completely.
